A simple loft conversion but one that used every available inch to create space.

The new stairs fitted in the stairwell over the original ground to first floor stairs so the existing first floor rooms were untouched by the new extension, avoiding the usual situation where a bedroom is made smaller.

Careful structural design made the most of the limited headroom to create a large welcoming room with good views and a generous ensuite bathroom.
